When a call arrives, the GSM Opener is designed to drop the call on the first ring and then make a decision as to whether to switch the onboard relays.

Depending how the GSM Gate Opener is configured, a number of things will happen. If the number that just ‘called’ is known, a relay pulse is generated to allow gates, doors or barriers to be opened.

If the GSM Gate Opener is set to ‘door’ mode, the incoming call in ignored and the unit will only respond to text messages in order to give added security to garage and shutter doors.

Does it cost to use the GSM Gate Opener?
If the GSM Gate Opener is only taking calls not sending reports, there are no usage costs. No call is ever answered and no texts messages are sent, therefore it is completly FREE to use.

If notification texts are enabled on the device, then network SIM rates are applicable.
